Come one, come all to our 2nd annual Halloween Costume Party!

The only thing stranger than the costumes will be the gruits we taste!

Along with the traditional ghoulish festivities we will be holding a special tasting for our Gruit Brewing Challenge held over the summer. In addition, we'll have some samples of the stone-brewed "Smoke in Your Eyes" Gruit the club made back in July while camping in the Absaroka Mountains! If you're unfamiliar with what a gruit is, think beer minus the hops. It's what the ancient Celtics and Vikings would have brewed using herbs. This was pre-discovery of hops!

So dust off your Viking helmet, grab a friend and get ready for an evening of interesting beers and some great company.

Please bring some food or beers to share and don't forget to RSVP so we have an accurate headcount. Info on the party's location will be emailed to members closer time to the event.
